RBI Member Eddie Fitzpatrick of North Attleboro has verbally committed to Brown University. The 6-foot-6 right handed pitcher recently made his decision crediting the school with a great balance of academics and athletics. Fitzpatrick was being recruited by many Division I schools including Northeastern University, Columbia University, and the University of Rhode Island to name a few.
Fitzpatrick played for the RBI Hawks 17U team this past summer and was the ace of Coach Marc DesRoches’ pitching staff. “Eddie is a great kid who comes from a great family. Brown is lucky to have him.” said DesRoches. “The combination of Eddie’s commitment to his schoolwork and his baseball skills as a pitcher have given him a great opportunity. I’m sure he and his parents are excited.”
The entire RBI staff congratulates Eddie Fitzpatrick on his achievements.
